  • Women's Event: Encounter God


    Join us August 23, 2019 in the Sunnybrook gym for a time of fellowship and challenge. This event will be from 6:00-8:00pm and will include  potluck dinner. So plan on bringing your favorite main dish, side, or dessert to share. For more information contact DiAnn.

  • Branson/silver dollar city gospel picnic

    Join us August 29-31, 2019 for a weekend of musical fun in Branson, MO. The cost of this event is $250 per person and includes two nights hotel stay, 3 day pass to Silver Dollar City, and a show on Thursday night. Breakfast is included in our hotel package, you will be responsible for purchasing additional meals. A $50 deposit per person will hold your spot on this trip. Silver Dollar City will be hosting their Gospel Picnic where they will have music in the park during the day and performances in the amphitheater in the evening. We also plan on visiting the Keeter Center at College of the Ozarks for Lunch on Friday and spending some time exploring their campus. Contact Janel for more information.

  • Fall PArent Connect Class

    September 4th - October 9th

    We will be offering a parent class over a series of topics this fall on Wednesday nights. Most discussions apply to all ages, not just teens. This elective is 6 weeks long from 6:30-8pm at the Stillwater Christian School gym (112 E Richmond Rd, Stillwater, OK 74075).The cost is $10 (per couple/ or single parent). 

    • Mental Health: Our Response to Anxiety / Depression / Suicide
      Discussing mental health issues and how they are affecting kids, teenagers, and young adults today. 
    • Game On: Navigating the world of Youth Sports and Activities
      Talking about the ever changing landscape of youth sports and youth clubs and activities. How do we respond? How can we demonstrate Christian witness in these areas? How much is too much? 
    • I’m tired of dragging my Kid to Church: How to help my child grow spiritually and integrate into the church body. 
      We will talk your child being a part of the multi-generational church body and talk about ways to engage your child in the church body from the time they are born through their young adult / College years.  
    • The Kids Are Leaving (Or they Just Left): The Empty Nest
      How to navigate the years after your kids leave home. How will this change your relationship with your kids and your spouse? Also, what do you do when they come back home? 
    • Up In Smoke: What to do with your child’s Rebellion / Q&A on Vaping, Weed, etc.
      We will talk about what happens and what to do when your teenager rebels. Additionally, we will talk to parents of young adult children and what to do when their young adult children have left home and may be “wandering” or struggling in their faith. 
    • Relinquishing control: Moving your kid from elementary school into their teenage years. 
      We will be looking at some of the common challenges that you may be experiencing as your son or daughter moves from the “kid” years into the teenage years and then from the teenage years into the young adult years.

  • Help build hope

    Join us September 20th and 21st as we partner with Help Build Hope to frame a home for a family in our Stillwater community. This is an Orange event and is suitable for all ages! If you can swing a hammer, we can use you! We have volunteer opportunities for Team Leaders, wood cutters, carriers, picture takers, and verse writers. All tools are provided so bring your work gloves and your favorite verses to write on the walls of this new home. For more information contact Chip Parks.

  • Women's encounter 2019

    Join us October 4-6, 2019 as we head to Camp Horizon for a time to focus on our relationship with God and the challenge that relationship brings. The cost for this event is $100. Choose one of our Pre-Encounter dates, September 22nd or September 29th, at 11:10am in the Sunnybrook library to prepare us for Encounter. Scholarships are available.
