  • Sunday mornings | 9:30 - 10:45 am

Every Sunday morning at 9:30 am we meet to study the Bible together. Our purpose for this time Sunday mornings is four-fold.

    • Teach students the Bible in a deep and impactful way.
    • Train students in how to accurately study the Bible on their own.
    • Help students understand the reasons why we believe what we believe about God and the Bible.
    • Equip students to communicate the truths of Jesus to others.

    4th Sundays

Two key elements of maturing in faith are (1) building relationships with believers who are not just involved with the youth group (the youth minister, small group leader, other students), and (2) worshipping alongside the whole body of Sunnybrook. Therefore, we have set in place a “holy habit” of pausing our usual Sunday School on 4th Sundays in order to attend the main worship service together. During our corporate worship service, we fellowship with other believers, praise God through song, partake in communion, pray, and sit under the teaching of the Bible as one body. Then, during 2nd service, we give high school students the opportunity to choose somewhere to use their God-given gifts to live missionally within the church through serving.

  • Wednesday Nights | 6:30 - 8:00 pm

YG (Youth Group) is our Wednesday night programming for high school students that meets from 6:30-8:00pm in the church gym during the school year. Our $1 snack bar opens at 6:00pm and we kick off with games or worship at 6:30pm, followed by a message designed to inspire and convict students in their relationship with God. Students are then connected with a small group to develop deep relationships and conversations. YG ends at 8:00pm to correlate with our adult Wednesday Night Study. (Adults meet from 7:00-8:00pm.)
